Scheduled Rebuild Projects:
If you are registering for a specific project, please fill out a volunteer application here. By registering, you are committing to work on that project. The registration process also acts as a waiver of liability. Once you have completed the registration process, all you have to do is show up and have a great time volunteering!

House Captain
The House Captain, in partnership with RTMD staff and the Skilled Captain, is key to the successful completion of the Rebuilding Day project, with a focus on volunteer coordination, communication and support. This position works very closely with RTMD in every aspect of the rebuild day process.

Skilled Captain
The Skilled Captain, in partnership with RTMD staff and the House Captain, is key to the successful completion of the Rebuilding Day project, with a focus on the planning and execution of technical aspects of the work scope, including materials and supplies. This position works very closely with RTMD in every aspect of the rebuild day process.

Volunteer Home previewer
A Volunteer Home Previewer works with the RTMD staff to conduct the initial inspection of a home. A Volunteer Home Previewer must attend a training course provided by RTMD and will be given a home preview sheet to work off of. Basic knowledge of construction and home repair issues is beneficial but not required for this position.

Volunteer Office Assistant
Volunteer Office Assistant is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of the RTMD office and providing office support for staff and volunteers as well as occasional involvement for upcoming projects.

Volunteer Coordinator – Remote Position
Volunteer Coordinator- Remote is responsible for the recruitment of volunteers, coordination of their activities, and community outreach. The duties outlined for this position can be conducted off-site, with the exception of required in-office trainings and events.

Volunteer Warehouse/Donation Assistant
Volunteer Warehouse/Donation Coordinator is responsible for the organization of the RTMD warehouse and the creation of an efficient stocking and inventory system along with procedures to be followed by other volunteers and staff.

Volunteer Client Services Representative
Volunteer Client Services Representative is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and tracking of client requests, case management, and the preliminary steps for starting a project file, as well as providing office support for staff and volunteers and occasional involvement for upcoming projects.

Volunteer Database Consultant
Volunteer Database and Systems Consultant is responsible for creating an effective way to track information pertaining to RTMD projects through the use of spreadsheets, databases, and the organization of computer files.

Volunteer Homeowner Liaison
Work with staff and other volunteer leaders to stay connected to the homeowner throughout the life of the project work. The Volunteer Homeowner Liaison is a crucial link between RTMD, the sponsor volunteer team, and the homeowner, getting to know the homeowners, their needs and concerns, and influencing the quality of the final project through relationship-building.
