Volunteer Opportunities at RTMD:
Scheduled Rebuild Projects:
If you are registering for a specific project, please fill out a volunteer application here. By registering, you are committing to work on that project. The registration process also acts as a waiver of liability. Once you have completed the registration process, all you have to do is show up and have a great time volunteering!

Volunteer Word Press Guide and Mentor:
You are vital to our organization as we work to keep our website fresh and relevant, post blogs, photos and videos and make ourselves known to the masses. Please contact us to work on how you can bring your expertise and passion to help us reach deeper into the community for support. We will work with your schedule to craft an approach that fits your lifestyle and other obligations.
Volunteer Skilled Trades and Handy People:
You are at the heart of our work. We have requests every day for repairs, small and large, that cannot wait for big event days. If you have skills at fixing things and are willing to give us some time, please contact us so we can work with your schedule and match you with homeowners in need.
Volunteer Home Previewer:
You work with the RTMD staff to conduct the initial inspection of a home. We have a “must attend” training course of a couple of hours where you receive materials and examples provided by RTMD. Basic knowledge of construction and home repair issues is beneficial for this position. Please contact us to get started previewing the homes of those we assist.
Administrative and Client Support Volunteer:
You assist with the daily “behind the scenes” responsibilities of RTMD staff, tracking and organizing client requests. You set up project files, answer phone calls and online inquiries from prospective homeowners, return voice messages, enter client data, and provide office support for staff and other volunteers. Please contact us to work out a flexible schedule that accommodates your life and work.
Volunteer Outreach Assistant – Remote Position:
You help us reach into metro communities outreach to recruit potential sponsors and volunteers, secure donations, and to spread awareness of RTMD’s mission. Regular responsibilities include research of potential partners, giving presentations, and occasionally attending outreach events with RTMD staff and other volunteers. Current volunteer opportunities for groups:
Most group volunteer activities are associated with a corporate financial donation and employee volunteers from the sponsoring organization, however, occasionally RTMD has opportunities for group volunteers. Please contact us if your group has identified RTMD as a potential organization to support to discuss what might be available at the time of your request.
