Unsafe or unhealthy living conditions at home account for many of the leading causes of preventable fatality, illness and disability in the United States. You can help provide a safe and healthy home for low-income seniors, veterans and people living with disabilities with a gift to Rebuilding Together Metro Denver! Your donation will help homeowners live with greater independence and dignity.
During 2012 Rebuilding Together Metro Denver served over low-income homeowners in our community. These are everyday folks who have worked hard, raised families, contributed to their neighborhoods, and helped their neighbors over the years, and who now need help. Age, illness, injury, and now the economy have conspired against them, leaving hard choices between fixing the broken window, the leaky faucet, the damaged roof and buying groceries, paying the bills, and getting the medicine they need. Our list of homeowners in need is growing in 2013. We need your help to ensure we are able to make the most crucial of repairs.
Some repairs will be major, possibly even making the difference for aging families to remain in their own home. Some of the repairs will be small, but vitally important to their safety. Some repairs will be emergency related, so homeowners have hot water and a working furnace. Every gift, no matter the size, helps. Every gift makes another home safe and healthy.
RTMD will put your gift to work immediately for homeowners in need of modifications and home repairs that will keep them safe and healthy. Simply put…your contribution goes directly to the people in desperate need of help!
